I took my Yukon in for an oil warning light that came on when I started the car. I immediate shut it down and got the proper oil and fill it up and brought it in for service the next day because I received a recall notice for this. My service advisor said there was no fix and they would check it for leaks and do an oil change. 3 days later my engine has just seized up and left me stranded on side of the highway in Delaware. My car now sits dead at the closest dealership that could get it towed to. I’m beyond dissatisfied.

I made an appointment for the next day and received an email which had a date for a week later, and I called and the service guy realized the mistake and although they were booked for the next day, they honored the appointment for the next day anyway. Once I was allowed in the doors, my service tech was very polite and friendly. He was not present when I first arrived. There were 2 cars ahead of me, so I stayed outside the doors. No one acknowledged that I was even there. A simple "wait a minute" finger would have made all the difference to at least say I am seen.

While I do appreciate the quick work that was done with my car and that i didn't owe any money. However when I walked out to go get my car. There was a chick fila bag in the center. At first I thought it was food and I am glad it wasn't food food but it was a bag of sauces like ketchup and honey mustard sitting in my hot car. So that means my car was taken to go get someone's lunch or they ate lunch in my car. Just was a bit of a bummer to walk out and see that.

As an Anderson customer for decades (and longtime acquaintance of Bruce M), I have always enjoyed my service work done there. Over the years, if something needed to be done on any of our many cars, I had Anderson do the work, going back to well before their leaving 25th Street in Baltimore. I am wondering whether to continue: This visit, as part of a tire rotate and oil change visit, I had the sunroof drains cleaned/blown out. So far, so good. When I arrived to have that work done, I also noticed two TPMS sensors were not reading...two, not four...and my service writer told me that he recommends having all four done, and that each sensor is roughly $105 for the part, or roughly $420 just for the parts, plus labor to dismount, remount and balance each tire with the installation of each sensor...he quoted me around $800 for the work. I declined the suggestion, and went home to do some research, and learned that AFTER having been there, now ALL FOUR TPMS sensors are not reading, where only a couple hours earlier only two were not reading. In my research on the sensor parts, I found that the Genuine GM part (sensor and stem) for my vehicle is available at RETAIL for roughly $29 each through an online parts supplier (or up to roughly $37 each through multiple other sources such as Rock Auto) for the exact same Genuine GM Part. Then, to have quoted me roughly $100 per tire for what amounts to a tire replacement labor installation cost, turns out to be exorbitant. I have bought tires from Anderson in the past, and paid the labor rate then, but it was NOT $100 per tire...not even close. The way I estimate it, I figure that my service writer attempted to charge me $800 for a job which should cost me only $280 all-in for all four TPMS sensors, coming to a total of roughly three times the RETAIL cost of parts and the labor paid for tire installation at the same dealership in the past. If this is how Anderson treats repeat customers of decades for service, I don't want it. If someone wants to reach out to me to correct this perception, please feel free.

Everyone there is friendly but I don’t get good service. I dropped my vehicle off overnight to check on a strange sound when hitting gas pedal and brakes. They told me the issue was that I had it in four wheel drive. After picking up my vehicle it was still making the sound. I had to drive back in for them to check again (basically just sit in passenger seat while I drive around parking lot) and he assured me it was my brake censor and that it was normal and I should just deal with the noise if I didn’t want to waste $400. Everyday my car sounds worse, now my brakes sound like metal grinding. After leaving my vehicle overnight, getting a back up vehicle, having to get a ride there and back- I don’t think anyone actually investigated the issue. I feel I was rushed out and problem was not resolved. That’s not my first bad experience with gmc Anderson in hunt valley- but my first complaint.

I know what good customer service is so it's not hard to know when I get "exceptional" customer service. it was a very busy day for your service department but Kevin Bacon assessed at my problem of misfire in a '25 Yukon and somehow worked to find a solution in about 2 hours. he even made a cappuccino for me, offered a snack from his "personal stash" and sent a personalized text letting me know if there was anything else I needed to be sure and let him know. that was very impressive considering a very stressful day for the service department. thank you. Unfortunately the replacement of a coil wire to the #6 cylinder helped the problem and allowed me to return to my original dealership in North Carolina but the misfire was not completely resolved. it will be and your dealership and it's crew showed initiative and action to help the anxiety of a Navy Vet from out of town feel comfortable, informed and most satisfied. appreciate all. I brought my 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4 in for 3 recalls. Two software related and the other on the 6.2 Engine issue. The service area is very neat & clean. Service was prompt and very professional. Communication was excellent. I like the prep of the vehicle before going into the shop, covering the floor, seats etc. The waiting area also nice and clean. I am the person that is very meticulous about my vehicles, especially one that cost $85,000. The service was very good. I did need to wipe off some oily fingerprints from the hood and driver's door but that's it. Overall, very satisfied with the service and will not have an issue bringing the vehicle back in the future.

Megan from customer service was very supportive and helped guide me through the process. However, I was a bit disappointed with the diagnostic performed by the technicians. While no error codes were detected during their test, I felt that if one of the technicians had taken the vehicle for a test drive, the issue might have been identified. When I picked up my vehicle and drove off the lot, I didn’t even make it a mile before the check engine light came back on. I had to immediately return to the dealership, where what I believe to be the actual source of the problem was finally addressed. I feel this is something the technicians should have caught earlier, even if the system did not initially register any codes, based on how the vehicle was running

I asked for the protective film to be removed from the HUD display since it was not removed from the factory or during final detailing before I received the new car. It is clearly stuck underneath the factory trim ring. I was told when I dropped the car off that it is usually left there for the customer to remove. It is clear the factory trim ring needs to be removed to get to the edges of the film. This is not intended for customer to remove. All that was done by your shop was the white tab that pulls the corner was cut so it was not blocking the HUD display. Now there is definitely no way to remove the film that is still in place unless the trim ring is removed. Not worth my time to chase this much further but it is not a great first impression. I will probably use your shop again, but I expect a little more honesty and effort in the future to take care of requests properly.

I had a noise in the right rear. I was told it was the shock making the noise. They ordered it and installed the new shock. I drove out of the dealership about two blocks and hear the same noise. Took it back. They had my car 5 days to repair the noise . I told them I wanted my shock that was not bad put back on, they did. Now I'm going to be reimbursed for the shock charge. The noise was fixed my extended warranty covered what was repaired. So far so good

I had to pay 4 days for a rental car becuase there was no loaner or help with a rental until the 5th day and then the part still didn't work. I had a noise in the right rear. I was told that the shock was making the noise. I let them replace the shock. When I drove off the lot the I heard the same noise. They replaced a perfect good shock. So I asked to have the shock they replaced to be reinstalled and to refund my credit card. The refund was applied after 12 working days. They needed the car to be dropped off to find the problem. It took them 5 days to find and fix the problem. I thought 5 day was a little much to be without a car. Thank God the repairs they did were covered under my extended warranty. There was a lack of communication about the process of my car. Long story short the problem was repaired

I can’t understand why it takes 20 minutes to do paperwork while I sit and wait. I had two requests change oil and replace fuel filter. Paperwork should be easy. I waited 20 minors then he asked me if I wanted the car cleaned up. It could have been cleaned in that 20 minutes the car sat there. I was two miles away and noticed engine light was on. Had to return. Advisor said there we no current codes and reset. In total I was delayed an hour or more. I’ve had service in three states. Seems like it’s the same everywhere.

This was my first time visiting this facility. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as soon as I arrived. I purchased my car in another state and was supposed to have maintenance covered for a certain period of time, however since the maintenance plan wasn’t through GM it wasn’t showing in the system. Took my 2019 Buick TourX in for oil change, tire rotation, new front struts and new serpentine belt - I like to have preventative maintenance done so I don't get stuck on the road or hit with an unexpected repair later. My service advisor was very good keeping me informed of where things were but he said the struts would take 2 weeks to get. I found genuine GM parts with the correct part numbers on Rock Auto at a cheaper price than the dealer was charging. My service advisor was good with that and I had them drop shipped to Anderson the next day for installation. All of the other work was done satisfactorily except they forgot to rotate the tires which I will take care of my self.

I made an appointment in advance to have standard lube, oil, filter, rotation done as well as replace brakes. I drive about 45 minutes to and from the dealership so when the dealership has the necessary info I expect to have the work completed. Once my truck was being worked on the agent came out to tell me they did not have the brakes in stock. This means I will need to make another trip there to have the work completed. UNACCEPTABLE! Now I am contemplating taking my truck elsewhere to get the brakes done. There was no credit or discount offered for my inconvenience. I am not happy.

Porter seemed annoyed when guiding me into the service area. Service sticker was removed and residual glue left on glass (no replacement service sticker). Vehicle health report states the tires were filled to 36 psi, however they were all at the same pressure as stated on the report. Report says all fluids levels were good, but while driving home the windshield washer fluid low warning came on. The service advisor was courteous after the awkward silence of all 3 of them just sitting there after I got out of the vehicle, trying to figure out which one of them was the person I was dealing with.
